Does research have leverage on educational policymaking? Yes, increasingly, argue the authors, but the interaction between political challenges and theoretical findings requires new methods.
Werner Lenz is Professor Emeritus of Education, with special reference to adult education. From 1986 to 2012 he was Head of Unit for Adult Education at the Department of Education at the University of Graz. His major research interests are lifelong learning, adult education and the relations between education and society. He has edited and written about thirty books and numerous articles. He is the Scientific Director of the Master Program in Educational Leadership at the Department of Interactive Media and Educational Technologies at the Danube University Krems.
