Robert Vergeer is a research scientist at TNO. His research interest lay in assessing the impact of workplace innovations and social institutions on economic performance. His recent publications deal with the impact of labour market institutions on unemployment [Vergeer, R. & Kleinknecht, A.H. (2012). Do flexible labor markets indeed reduce unemployment? A robustness check. Review of Social Economy, 1 (1), 1 – 17] and on productivity (Vergeer & Kleinknecht 2011). He currently studies the effect of company flexibility strategies on firm performance.
