Carolina Fernandez-Salinero

Carolina Fernandez-Salinero has a PhD in Philosophy and Education Sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), obtaining Honours for her thesis. She is a professor of Training in Organizations in the Department of Theory and History of Education at UCM (since 2002). Among its research highlights: women in the labor market, education in Europe and especially Labour Education, which has led most of its publications. Some examples of studies are: Analysis of Educational Requirements of Firms in Spain (1999), Vocational Training in the European Community (2002), Skills in the Context of European Convergence (2006), Gender and Education (2012) and Methodological approach to vocational training (2013). Fernndez-Slinero is Academic Secretary of the Faculty of Education (UCM) and a member of a research group that evaluates quality in organizations. She has done consultancy for several public and private companies on training management and evaluation. Contact:
