Maidan – sketches from a revolution
Elena Sabirova reports from post-revolution Ukraine. She outlines possible roles for adult education in alleviating the ever-present feeling of discord, mistrust and threat.
Since 2011 Elena Sabirova works in the Regional office of DVV International in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus. From 2006 till 2011 she worked in the Regional office of Central Asia where she coordinated project activities in the field of adult learning and education. Her other professional background includes working as a trainer in the non-governmental sector of adult education, establishing and managing NGOs working with adults and providing educational services, supervision and coaching.
