Elm Magazine launches its research section Elm Research. Each year, a maximum of 4 refereed articles per year will be published.

Elm Research aims at providing the opportunity for both early-career academics and established academics to publish recent research results on lifelong learning and adult education. Elm Research will present research results in adult education as they relate to pan-European developments and trends with a particular focus on the practice of adult education.

Particularly early-career academics in adult education and related disciplines are encouraged to submit original articles. Contributions shall be in English, but we warmly welcome contributions from authors in regions where English is not the first language.

All submissions for Elm Research undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process by at least two anonymous referees.

Elm Research is published by the Editorial Board and the Editorial Team of Elm Magazine. Responsible for an initial editorial screening and the peer-review process are Thomas Jung and Michael Sommer.
